Focused on decolonizing mental health we aim to synthesize modern modalities with an Indigenous world view and traditional Asian teachings. We are a family organization in all meanings of the word. We firmly adhere to the belief that "nothing about us, without us" and work in direct consultation, collaboration, and solidarity with the experts - neurodivergent folx.

As caregivers, Kyle and Natascha saw the need for specialized education and training. There is limited formal education on FASD for professionals though it is estimated that FASD affects 4-5% of the general population in Canada. Seeing a need for focused, innovative education in this area, the FASD Insitute was formed to provide practical and accessible solutions.

We are activists committed to an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, anti-ableist, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming framework. Social justice education can spark the momentum that will effect change for all.
