The Gifts You Carry: The Story of the Sacred Child and FASD

We are thrilled to announce that our book has been published!

All children are sacred and carry gifts. Go on a journey with a grandmother and her grandchild as they discuss the gifts and sacredness of the child as a person with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Through an Indigenous lens, the strengths and solutions to potential challenges for a person with FASD will be explored.

Every child is sacred and possesses unique gifts. This story follows a grandmother and her grandchild as they embark on a journey of understanding and affirmation. Through heartfelt dialogue, they explore the sacredness and strengths of the child as a person living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Grounded in Indigenous perspectives, the story highlights culturally informed approaches to recognizing gifts, navigating challenges, and fostering resilience.

Thank you so much in advance for your support,

Courtney and Natascha
